Tavan Music Academy is a family owned private lesson music school located in Los Gatos, California. Opened in 2012, the owners are local musicians who have been involved with the South Bay music community for over 40 years. The word “Tavan” means power, ability, capacity in Farsi.

Conveniently located across the street from Rolling Hills Middle School (in the Rinconada Shopping Center), Tavan offers 5 rooms of private instruction in piano, guitar, drums, violin, vocals and woodwinds.

Our instructors are professional musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene who have a strong passion for teaching. We provide lessons for all ages and all expertise.

We offer a wide variety of lessons, on many instruments and styles, ranging from classical, to jazz and contemporary music.
